Shapes Of Refractory Brick
According to current national standards, the style of refractory brick can be classified into standard shaped brick, normal shaped brick, abnormal shaped brick and special shaped brick.
1. Standard shaped brick: usually the straight brick with the shape size of 230mm x 114mm x 65mm is called standard shaped brick.
2. Normal shaped brick: The ratio of the dimensions which refers to the ratio of the minimum to the maximum size is within the range of 1:4 and without concave holes or grooves, clay brick with single weight of 2 ~ 8kg, silica brick with weight of 2~6kg, high alumina brick with weight of 2~l0kg and magnesia brick with weight of 4~l0kg are all called normal shaped brick.
3. Abnormal shaped brick:
A. fireclay and high alumina abnormal shaped brick. The size ratio is in the range of 1:6 with more than two concaves, or the weight of high alumina brick is between 2 ~ 18kg and clay brick is between 2 ~ 15kg are all called abnormal shaped brick.
B. silica abnormal shaped brick. The size ratio is in the range of 1:5 with more than one concave, or the weight of silica brick is between 2~12kg are all called silica abnormal shaped brick.
C. magnesia abnormal shaped brick.
4. Special shaped brick:
A. Fireclay and high alumina special shaped brick. The size ratio is in the range of 1:8 with less than four concaves, or the weight of high alumina brick is between 1.5~35kg and clay brick is between 1. 5~30kg are all called special shaped brick.
B. silica special shaped brick. The size ratio is in the range of 1:6 with less than four concaves, or the weight of silica brick is between 1. 5~25kg are all called silica abnormal shaped brick.
C. Magnesia special shaped brick. The size ratio is in the range of 1:8 with less than four concaves, or the weight of silica brick is between 3~35kg are all called magnesia abnormal shaped brick.
